Local Liverpool Pub Hosts Live Session to Help Promote Open Mic Regular's Original Music: the Shenanigans Live Session

ree

Local pub Shenanigans in Liverpool recently played host to a unique event that celebrated the city's vibrant music scene. Located just next to the Superlambanana on Tithebarn, the Irish pub is known for its atmosphere and live music nights.

The local pub recently held an invite-only live session to celebrate the original music of its regular performers (both from paid gigs and their Thursday night open mic). The night was hosted and organized by local musician Jamie Higgs, and it was recorded with the help of the Red Shutter Club and local producer Barry Mullaney.

Many familiar faces joined in on the fun including Morgan Wood, Aaron Barnicle and Finn Farmer. Many of the acts turned into jam sessions, with different hopping on guitars and even cajon to support their fellow musician.

Though it is uncertain when and how the album will be released, Higgs expressed his desire to host more similar events in the future. In such an oversaturated scene of talented musicians, more unconventional forms of support and promotion are vital for our local artists. Not to mention, it is events like these that keep our music scene so tightly knit and so special.
